Basic Life Support (BLS) is a set of skills that teach people how to provide immediate medical care in emergency situations, such as cardiac arrest, breathing difficulties, or obstructed airways. BLS training can be used in both pre-hospital and in-facility settings, and it can be applied to both adults and children.
