Self-Care Workshop

Pre-Teen Self-Care is a workshop that will allow boys and girls from the ages of 9-13 to learn and practice self-care habits. This workshop will go over facials and nail care. Facials will not use any harsh chemicals or peels and will not be performed on students, and nail care will include fingers and toes taught and done by Cosmo III students. Each group will be taught infection control, proper hand washing, nail cleaning, filing, cuticle care, simple hand massage, polish, correct skin cleaning, treatment and moisturizing techniques to help aid attendees for self-love and self-care life skills. Provided is a list of Skin and nails treatments:

-Basic Manicure
  • Skin Cleanse
  • Proper Nail Filing
  • Cuticle Care
  • Basic massage technique
  • Polish Application

-Basic Pedicure
  • Skin Cleanse
  • Proper Nail Filing
  • Cuticle Care
  • Basic Foot massage technique
  • Polish Application

-Skin
  • Skin Cleanse
  • Treat (mask)
  • Facial massage manipulation
  • Moisturize
Wednesday, July 9th from 9AM-3PM Lunch will be provided

(Please note if your student has any types of allergies as snacks, lunch, and lemonade/water will be served.)
This cost will include the Price of a basic manicure, basic pedicure, vitamin C facial, tee-shirt, snacks, pizza, drinks, along with a take home Kit. The Education given will be ensured by a supervised Licensed R.I. Professional.
